Smart Grid
Smart Grid gives you an intensity grid that you can limit to only show fixtures of the current cue list or limit to any group of fixtures. There is the option to show just the fixtures in use or even those that are not in use. From the QWERTY keyboard, you can quickly change display groups by typing in the group number. Run multiple sessions on one laptop or even on the console showing different data. The display gird is zoomable and the status area shows the console’s command line and current cue. See ABOUT for keyboard shortcuts and features. |

| CueTip FS | |
| Cue Tip Follow Spot is an application which should be run on a laptop or computer with a touchscreen for each follow spot operator in a production. Ideal, the touchscreen is 600x800 (portrait) but by opening the VB.Net Open Palette project, the layout can be tailored to any format. Each CueTip FS system listens to its own fixture number on the Palette (of type Generic – Follow Spot Notes). The Image attribute of the follow spot should have a wheel profile added which includes all the actors’ names. Images of the actors (using the same naming convention) are added locally on the Cue Tip machine. Cues should be recorded assuming the follow spots are just another set of moving lights in the show. The system will automatically look forward to its own next cue information. If you want to see the screen display as you are working, press the LIVE button on Cue Tip. During the show, the operators can look forward to their next cues using the arrow buttons. Press the Cue Light button to the far left to return to the current cue state. If needed, they can change the actors’ image to remind themselves of what the actors look like. The image will revert to what the console is putting out after 30 seconds. Cue Tip FS requires Palette v10.5 or greater. | |

| CueTip PM | |
| Cue Tip for Property Masters runs on a separate computer on the lighting network to show Prop personnel which props are required next. The next two props needed are also shown. Images are stored locally in the directory specified in the Options dialog box. A GENERIC Propmaster Notes fixture is added to the show patch and a wheel profile having text that matches the image names determines which image is shown. The system automatically looks forward to the cue where the prop is NEXT used (therefore, record the Propmaster fixture’s image IN the cue where the prop is needed). While the layout is not locked, you can click and drag elements on the screen. Shift Click to change fonts and colours. Cue Tip PM requires Palette OS 10.5 or greater. | |

CueTip SM |

Cue Tip for Stage Management allows remote display notifying various production staff to the current state of the lighting console. Cue labels are displayed verbatim unless label contains the tilde character (~) then only text after the tilde is displayed on Cue Tip’s display. This allows specific Stage Management notes to be displayed while allowing lighting labels to remain useful. While Layout is not locked, you can click and drag the text on the screen around to suit your needs. If you Shift Click, you can change font and
colors. If you check off Use Camera in the Options dialog box, while not in Run Mode, you can grab images of the current cue. While in Run Mode, the pending cue’s image will be displayed in the preview frame. Requires Palette OS 10.5 or greater. |
