Horizon Upgrade Information

 (Instructions are for Marquee, but procedure is the same for Horizon, Marquee, and Strand PaletteOS.)

Horizon has been discontinued, but channel upgrades will be available for existing systems indefinitely. The HCIUpgrade utility is packaged with Horizon software for this purpose.

Upgrading to Marquee:

Only systems using the Horizon USB Key, and outputting directly to a Pathport, or Art-Net Network are directly compatible with Marquee. The Sandbox USB device previously sold by Rosco is NOT compatible with Marquee.

A new authorization for the USB Key is required, and the channel exchange rate is listed below.

Horizon Channel to Marquee Channel Exchange:

For users who wish to exchange their Horizon channels for Marquee channels, the exchange rate is as follows:

(2) Horizon Gold Channels = (1) Marquee Channel

(3) Horizon Silver Channels = (1) Marquee Channel

(4) Horizon Basic Channels = (1) Marquee Channel

Users can purchase Marquee equipment from their local Entertainment Technology dealer, then contact us directly with the serial number from their Horizon device to start the exchange process.
