File Menu

The File pull down menu on the Menu Bar provides access to the following functions.

You will need to verify you want to continue working with the Checkpoint file or the real show file. If you choose Yes to open the Checkpoint file, you will do a SaveAs the first time you choose Save. You can manually Open checkpoint files by changing the "Files of Type" combo in the File|Open dialog box to "Marquee Checkpoint". Set the time interval of how often checkpoint files are written in Show Options. (Check out Mirrored Saves also found in Show Options) Checkpoint files are automatically deleted if you exit Marquee manually.

The last time you saved is shown in the Status Bubbles where the elapsed time is also displayed.

The Uber Status also tracks all saves and checkpoints and marks a horizontal line showing you what edits above the line have been saved:

Upon recovery from an improper shut down, you can choose to enable or disable outputs. If the Console Option Force Outputs upon Recovery is checked, they will always be enabled, which is desirable in architectural situations.

Note:

Any time you see a word with an underlined letter on the menu bar or in a pull-down menu, this means you can access it from the QWERTY keyboard using the ALT key and the underlined letter. For example, ALT, F, O will access the File drop down menu from the Menu Bar, and then the Open file dialog box will appear.
