The Blind display lets you, load, create, preview or modify Cues and Looks without affecting the current look on stage.
Click the Blind icon. 
Press [SHIFT]+[LOAD/BLIND].

Press the Blind key [B].
To preview a cue in Blind, select the Blind display by either method shown above.
The if the Blind editor was clear (no captured attributes), the current cue will be previewed.
If necessary, move the Blue Box in the Cue List (either with the arrow keys or using the mouse), and the contents of the cue are shown on the Fixture Grid and the Attribute Grid. Note the Status Bubble shows the current cue that is previewed.

You
can either see or hide values that are tracking
into the previewed cue by toggling the Track Toolbar Button. ![]()
Alter the cue by Selecting and Setting Fixtures (or Releasing Attributes) making any changes you like to its contents.
You can also use the syntax [#] [@] [ENTER] to force the value to be removed from the cue. Similarly, you can type, for example, [#] [S2-Pan] [ENTER] to remove entire attribute families.
Any change you make will marked with delta symbols. These must be updated (by pressing [UPDT]) before you leave Blind or change to another cue.
If you select another cue, a dialog box will appear asking you if you want to save the changes. Click Yes to save changes, No to discard them.

Note:
Press [UPDT] or [U] to update the selected cue. The dialog box will ask if you want to commit the changes and track the changes forward. If you select OK, the fixtures will be released, but the cue or look will remain loaded.
To record the changes as a different cue number, use the Record button and enter the new number in the appropriate text box.
You can return to LIVE even when you are working on things in BLIND. When you come back to BLIND, things will be just as you left them.
Select the Blind display by either method shown above.
Ensure that the Loaded Bubble is empty by pressing Release if necessary.
Note:
By default, if the Blind editor was clear (there were no captured attributes), the current cue will be previewed (see above).
Press [LOAD] or [SHIFT]+[B] to open the Load dialog box.
Enter the cue number and press [ENTER] or press [LOOK] or [S12] to display the Look tab:

The contents of the item is now captured and has a delta symbol in the Fixture Grid and Attribute Grid and the Loaded Status Bubble shows the item's label:

Alter the attributes by Selecting and Setting Fixtures (or Releasing Attributes) making any changes you like to its contents.
Press [UPDT] or [U] to update the loaded item.
Note:
To record the changes to a different Look or Cue, use the Record button rather than Update.
You can return to LIVE even when you are working on things in BLIND. When you come back to BLIND, things will be just as you left them.
To quickly load a Look that is assigned to a slider panel or button wing, press [LOAD] [BUMP].
