For organizational purposes, Horizon lets you build pages of submasters.  Therefore you can have many Sub 1’s – for example, if you’re in a TV studio and you have 4 sets, Sub 1 on each of the 4 sub pages could be the front lights.

In the channel grid, you can see when a channel is being controlled via a sub (rather than a cue) because the level has a little sub handle beside it.
