When working with other devices such as VTRs, DAT machines, Video Servers, audio mixers or other lighting control desks, Horizon can communicate with them with the MIDI/SMPTE module that fits in the 1024 unit or the PBC. Horizon can generate and receive all four flavours of SMPTE time code and also receive MIDI Time Code.  Horizon can send any MIDI stream and respond to MIDI Notes.
