Horizon Control Inc. Announces Strategic Partnership Renewal

LDI 2002, Las Vegas — October 18, 2002 — Horizon Control is pleased to announce the renewal of their strategic alliance with Entertainment Technology, a Genlyte Company (Nasdaq “GLYT”), for the marketing, sales and distribution of the Horizon™ product line. Horizon Control will continue to focus on its core competencies of design, development and support of Windows lighting control software for Entertainment, Theatrical, and Architectural applications.

Horizon Product Architect, Alan Martello, heads Horizon Control. Robert Bell, formerly of CAST Lighting and originator of the breakthrough WYSIWYG 3-D visualization software serves as Horizon Product Manager. Gordon Pearlman of Entertainment Technology, known for bringing computerized lighting controls to Broadway in the original production of A Chorus Line in 1975, serves as technical consultant.

Under this strategic alliance, all Horizon hardware will continue to be shipped from the Entertainment Technology factory located in Garland, Texas. Horizon Control will provide software support with software upgrades available at horizoncontrol.com on-line 24/7.
